Smokin' Jokes: Susan Rice!

Susan Rice's resume is as accomplished as you'll find. 35 years of standup experience. She's toured all over the country with some of the most accomplished comedians in the business, including Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Arsenio Hall, Paula Poundstone, George Lopez, Lewis Black and more. She's appeared on HBO, Showtime, ABC, Portlandia. She won Portland's Funniest Person competition.

She's is a surprise. No one expects her to be the comic. She looks like she's just wandered in from another party looking for free booze or got lost. When she takes the stage there is a twitter in the room and once they realize she's not going to lecture them or give testimony everyone relaxes.

After many years of performing, stand up gives her an edge to read a crowd quickly and she does not put anyone on the spot that is not willing to play. It's all good natured fun.

What you can expect is a feeling you just spent an hour with a familiar old friend who can make you laugh.
