Seattle comedians Travis Sherer and Mark Mareno created Cozy Comedy because they love standup comedy but were tired of the barriers to it.
Most people don't go to watch standup comedy because they're intimidated by unprofessional comics, or because they paid $25 for a ticket just to get there and realize they have to pay $30 more for a two-drink minimum.

Travis Sherer

Travis is a former award-winning sports and humor columnist turned standup comedian. He has been producing comedy shows all over Washington state since 2018.
A 100% clean comedian, Travis can be found on stages all over the Pacific Northwest as well as New York and Las Vegas. From churches and fundraisers to casinos and comedy clubs, Travis prides himself on being funny in any environment.

Marc Moreno
Co-Founder
Comedian
A first generation Cuban-American and Paralympic title-holder, Marcus Moreno’s unique combination of experiences gives him an equally unique comedic voice to match. He went from the 2014 paraclimbing national champion and gold medalist to stand-up comedian who sneaks disability advocacy into an otherwise charmingly irreverent look at life, family, and society. He’s fairly confident no one can say the same, but he’s also modest enough to admit there’s a chance. From this path, he has been featured in People, Good Morning America, E! Hollywood True Stories, and more.
Marcus’s first foray into combining the two was in 2021, when he began a streaming show that raised $10,000 for charity in 10 months with the help of comics. Since then he co-founded the production company Cozy Comedy which, along with producing shows throughout much of the Pacific Northwest, also continues advocacy efforts for muscular dystrophy. To that end, he’s currently learning sign language to help make the joy of live comedy more accessible for all walks of life.
